Aishwarya Rai in Robot

With a red signal for Sivaji, Aishwarya Rai is now roped for the next biggest movie to be taken in India Superstar Rajinikanth's ROBOT being direct by Shankar and produced by Ayngaran International. After the release of Jodha Akbar Aishwarya Rai is expected to kick-start her ROBOT project.

A couple of days back, we had mentioned that Shankar was in Mumbai to hold talks with Aishwarya Rai to cast her in his prestigious project Robot. Now it is confirmed that he has been successful with regard to roping in former Miss World in his mega budgeted film Robot. Ms Rai has signed on the dotted line for a jaw dropping sum of Rs 1.5 crore to play the lady lead for Super Star in the film. Insiders reveal that this could be the highest paid salary for any heroine in the South Indian film industry. This Science fiction film will be produced by Karunamoorthy for Ayngaran International and is expected to be made simultaneously in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.

Ayngaran Chairman Karunamoorthy lets out their next production venture during his interview with sify.com. 'Robot' the most expected movie over the years of director Shankar in hands with Super Star Rajinikanth performing the lead role and Rahman being the choice for music direction will be produced by Aygaran International. This is the second time the trio will be working together after the blockbuster 'Sivaji - The Boss'. No official information regarding the new project though. Hope this happens. With news reported in CNN-IBN it is officially confirmed that Rajini will be taking up Shankar's Robot and movie will be simultaneously taken in Hindi and Telugu also. The movie starts of with a simple introduction with Ajith walking out of his benz to supply the materials to his customers and there comes the real Billa. 'Enna koduma sir' Prabhu being the police officer incharge narrates the activities of the don 'Billa' to the Malaysian cops and gets their support for his investigation. Meanwhile the introduction of the bandid queens Namitha and Nayantara happens. The sequence of the frame remains the same as the shahrukh khan starer 'Don' until Prabhu kills Billa. Billa look-alike Velu will then be trained by prabhu and 'Pudhu pudhu arthangal' Rahuman joins Prabhu as a co-officer for investigating about Billa.
